“HITS competitions have been an important part of our sport for more than 30 years, and we’re pleased to have the HITS organization as this year’s Annual Meeting presenting sponsor,” said Bill Moroney, president of USHJA. “The USHJA Annual Meeting brings members together to address the most important issues and opportunities in our sport, and HITS’ support is helping make this possible.”
The USHJA Annual Meeting will be held at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Hotel, December 6-10, 2015, in Orlando, FL. During the Annual Meeting, members will discuss the latest topics and rule changes in our industry, network with one another, and celebrate accomplishments of fellow equestrians.
“The combination of the discipline organization that is responsible for the coordination of vast hunter/jumper activities in this country and the hosting of their annual convention in the state that is home to one of our biggest shows, HITS Ocala, made this a perfect partnership for Horse Shows in the Sun,” said HITS President & CEO Tom Struzzieri.
HITS, Inc. is a special events management company primarily focused on producing hunter/jumper horse shows. Based in upstate New York in the village of Saugerties, HITS produced its first horse show circuit in Gainesville, Florida in 1982. Since then, HITS has grown into a nationwide company with world-class hunter/jumper circuits in California, Florida, Arizona, New York and Virginia.
In addition to sponsoring the 2015 USHJA Annual Meeting, HITS is also demonstrating its support for the USHJA by offering four $100,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby classes in 2016. The USHJA International Hunter Derby program is one of USHJA’s premier programs, offering both series awards by region and an annual championship event.
Struzzieri continued, “HITS has taken the lead by offering four $100,000 USHJA Hunter Derby classes, and this sponsorship continues to cement that partnership.”
USHJA would also like to thank our returning USHJA Annual Meeting sponsors—–Texas High Performance Hunter Series, The United States Equestrian Federation, Hodges Badge Company—– as well as new 2016 sponsors EQSportsNet and Nightwatch.
