The Plaid Horse is excited to present the second in our series of #TBT Photo Galleries featuring various horse shows from the last year or so. Each collection is from one of our fabulous TPH Interns. We hope you enjoy these as much as we do!
This week we revisit the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show which was held in March of 2014 at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy, Texas. The Pin Oak Charity is one of the oldest and most prestigious horse shows in the country, going back to 1945. Pin Oak has raised millions for it’s charities, particularly the Texas Children’s Hospital. It was also the first show in the United States to be designated as a Heritage Competition by the United States Equestrian Federation and is featured in the current USHJA Wheeler Museum Exhibit, “Iconic Horse Shows.”
