TPH Intern Holiday Traditions

‘Twas the night before the holidays, when all through the aisle
Not a pony was neighing, not even worthwhile
The stocking were hung by the stalls with care,
In hopes that presents soon would be there.

Happy Holidays from the TPH Interns! Here are a few holiday traditions that we participate in besides barn parties and decorating the stables.

santa padMackenzie Shuman, photography intern, rides in her “Santa” saddle pad for the whole month of December at the barn. At home she takes extra tree branches and sets them up to look like an upside down tree over the real tree, how cool is that!

treeJordan Cobb, photography intern, and Oliva Ferro, blogging intern, both add various candies and candy canes to their horses stall stockings throughout this festive month!

And for myself, Estelle Kraft, blogging and social media intern, my family always gets new pajamas on Christmas Eve that we wear to bed and wake up in, the collection is full of crazy stripes and plaid. At my barn, candy canes and peppermint flavored treats are a holiday essential and New Years Day is full of a fun trail ride.
