TPH Product Review: Buckwild Breeches

By Betsy Kelley

I. Love. Leopard. There, I said it! I love standing out in the schooling ring, and am known for bringing a quirky sense of humor to the barn. Why wear beige all year long when there are so many fun options out there? I am usually stuck buying riding tights if I want fun colors, which just isn’t the same as wearing honest-to-goodness breeches. When I first discovered Buckwild Breeches Signature Mid-Waist Breeches, I was intrigued…I HAD to own a pair!

First off: these breeches are high quality. When I saw the full seat leopard print online, I presumed that I was ordering a product that was more fun than useful. I could not have been more wrong. The construction and materials used to make these breeches was way beyond what I expected. From the high quality fabrics to the grip technology on the seat and leg, these breeches are filled with well thought-out details.  (Each individual leopard spot is a grip patch. I can’t even.) On top of that, the fit is outstanding with a wide range of size options for every shape of rider.

Aside from the cute factor and quality, these breeches are beyond comfortable and full of thoughtfulness from start to finish. From the individual leopard grips to the zippered front pocket and stretch sateen ankle for fit, comfort and smooth lines, they exceeded my expectation in every possible way. (They also make more subtle options if you’re looking for a quality pair of breeches without being the most exciting person in the schooling ring! My second pair is white with a black full seat and grip technology.)

I was giddy when the Buckwild box showed up on my doorstep; I was blown away when I opened the box and saw the quality of the products I had received. I am officially Buckwild Breeches newest fan. I can’t wait to try their Riding Tights next (hello, cell phone pocket!) #GoBuckwild
