If you dabbled in the Green Pony Hunter divisions, but it was not exactly the debut you were hoping for, the USEF Green Reinstatement Application for 2016 is due NOVEMBER 30th. Please do not submit a reinstatement request for a horse; only reinstatements for ponies will be processed. Per HU103, there is no longer a requirement to request a reinstatement for a horse’s Green Hunter 3’3” or 3’6″ status. Please see HU103.6 for more details. Reinstatements submitted for horses will not be processed.

Any additional information such as Equine Canada licensed competitions in which the pony has competed regulation height or higher must be included on the reinstatement application.

A Pony Hunter Green reinstatement may be granted one time.

A pony is not eligible for a green reinstatement if it has competed in the US Hunter and/ or Jumper Pony Championship(i.e.Pony Finals).See HU103 for Green Pony Hunter status definition.

Ponies will receive bad points for classes that affect their green status within the same year for which the reinstatement is granted.

A rule change effective 12/1/2016 no longer requires horses to receive reinstatements, however ponies will still need to apply for reinstatements.
