Lexington, KY – August 30, 2017 – The Split Rock Jumping Tour (SRJT) is bringing its series of FEI horse shows to the new Brave Horse Show Park in Johnstown, Ohio. The Columbus International 1 CSI2* will take place September 27-October 1, and the Columbus International 2 CSI3* will be held the following week, October 4-8. The two international events are expected to fill up quickly as many riders have already confirmed their plans to attend.
Now in its third year, the SRJT is revolutionizing the sport of show jumping in the U.S., hosting some of the world’s top riders and creating an “Unparalleled Show Jumping Experience” for riders, owners, sponsors and spectators alike. With its immaculate facilities, stabling and competition arenas, the new Brave Horse Show Park offers top-class amenities that fit perfectly with the high standard that Split Rock’s founder, Derek Braun, has established for his events.
“We have already received confirmation from some of the top riders in the sport who can’t wait to come to our new fall events at the Brave Horse Show Park,” said Braun. “Our vision of creating top-class events at world-class facilities and changing the way show jumping is presented in the U.S. is truly becoming a reality. We are really excited to debut our SRJT fall shows at Brave Horse and we thank Matt Harris for his incredible support!”
Week1: The Columbus International 1 CSI2* – September 27-October 1
The new CSI2* show was created as an expansion to the successful CSI3* show to provide a format and opportunity for riders of all levels to participate. This show is an “A la Carte” format for both National and FEI riders (like a regular horse show), allowing all competitors to pick and choose exactly which classes fit their particular horse and rider needs. Class fees are at very affordable price points allowing upper level riders and trainers to bring a number of their clients for the unrivaled SRJT experience.
There are two FEI rated classes: the $35,000 CSI2* 1.45m Hollow Creek Farm Welcome and the $50,000 Lugano Diamonds CSI2* Grand Prix. There will be divisions .85m and up available for both weeks.
Week 2: The Columbus International 2 CSI3* – October 4-8
As in Week 1, national classes have an “A la Carte” format with very affordable class fees, and the FEI packages offer various “Tier Packages” from which to choose. The FEI classes include the $35,000 CSI3* 1.45m Hollow Creek Farm Speed Cup, $40,000 Amalaya Investments CSI3* 1.50m Welcome Class and the $130,000 CSI3* 1.55m Split Rock Farm Grand Prix.
“Lugano Diamonds Party” with Bonus Private Concert
The highly anticipated SRJT social event, “The Lugano Diamonds Party,” will take place at Brave Horse on Friday, October 6. Admission is $150 per person. Following the dinner, there will be a private concert, included in the dinner admission, by well-known country singer, Sam Riggs!
