Pacific Coast Horse Shows Association is thrilled to announce the new PCHA Adult Horsemanship 18-34. This class is designed as an intermediate equitation class for riders 18-34 who are current PCHA members as well as their trainer. To be held over a course of at least eight fences 3’3″ in height. Hunter-type fences are encouraged. One (1) combination must be included and at least two (2) changes of direction with two (2) tests (USEF 1-18) included as part of the original course. No work-off is required, but further testing is at the judge’s discretion. To fill a class, three (3) competitors must complete the course. If there are not three (3) entries, it may be combined with the 35 & Over Horsemanship or the 14 & Under Horsemanship. 12 points will qualify a rider for the Finals. When the class is combined with 14 & Under, the highest placing Amateur will receive 1st place points, the second highest will get 2nd place points. When combined with the 35 & Over, the highest 18-34 rider will receive 1st place points, the second highest 18-34 rider will receive 2nd place points. The point scale will be as follows

4 entries 8, 6, 4, 2
3 entries 4, 2, 1
Qualifying classes start this week for the 2018 Finals! Classes will be offered this week at The Flintridge Autumn Classic and The Sacramento International Welcome Week.
