North Salem, New York – The Old Salem Farm Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, is now welcoming charitable partners to join them in contributing to the success of the 2018 Adequan®/FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC), presented by Gotham North, running July 31 through August 5 at Old Salem Farm in North Salem, NY.
The 2018 NAYC, taking place for the first time at Old Salem Farm’s 120-acre facility based in North Salem, NY, will feature dressage athletes ranging from 14 to 21 years of age, while the NAYC for show jumping showcases riders from 12 to 21 years old. With four all-weather rings and a world-renowned grand prix jumping field, Old Salem Farm will celebrate the multi-discipline event by showcasing the future stars of horse sport from across North America.
“It is our goal to highlight the prestige of the NAYC and recognize its position as a pivotal stepping stone in the development of young riders for international and Olympic level sport,” said Old Salem Farm trainer and NAYC team gold medalist Lucy Davis. “We believe it is important to have the NAYC as a stand-alone event to showcase the talent and hard work of these up-and-coming athletes.
“In an effort to ensure the relevance of NAYC for future years, Old Salem Farm and US Equestrian have taken steps to ensure participation in the event by partnering with sponsors like Adequan® and Gotham North to invest in providing prize money to match the purses offered at the international level around the world,” continued Davis of the efforts Old Salem Farm has made to elevate the level of sport at the NAYC. “Most importantly, we are very proud to host the 2018 NAYC at Old Salem Farm.”
The Old Salem Farm Foundation’s mission is to promote the growth of equestrian sporting competitions for juniors, amateurs, and professionals through year-round horse show competitions and events. These events provide the Old Salem Farm Foundation with fundraising and awareness opportunities for the equestrian community as well as the general public.
Individual donors who contribute to the Old Salem Farm Foundation’s support of the NAYC will be listed as a patron sponsor of the event, have the opportunity to enjoy the competition in VIP style, and meet the riders who will soon represent the U.S., Canada, and Mexico internationally. Interested parties should contact Old Salem Farm’s Director of Sales and Sponsorship Chelsea Dwinell at chelsead@oldsalemfarm.net or (617) 888-2357 to learn more about partnership opportunities.
