TPH REVIEW: Roeckl Roeck-Grip Pro Gloves

I have two words for you: TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE. I know, I know. You shouldn’t be texting while you’re in the saddle, but heaven knows we don’t spend every second at a horse show or at a barn in the saddle. There are innumerable hours spent chatting in the barn aisle, waiting for your class to go, standing at the rail cheering on your friends.

If you’re like me and don’t like taking your gloves off every time you want to check the time, the weather, send a SnapChat, see why your phone just buzzed, or just absentmindedly swipe through your home screen, the future is here.

Roeckl is eponymous with quality, you would be hard pressed to find another glove brand as widely known or highly respected. The question now is: do they deserve the hype, or is it just great marketing? I am here to ease your fears, and let you know that Roeckl gloves are beloved for a reason, and they are here to stay.

I have cycled through probably five different brands of gloves in the last few years, never quite thrilled with each pair. I want something grippy; I want something comfortable; I want something stylish; and I want to be able to check my dang texts.

Roeckl Roeck-Grip Pro Gloves are a fantastic investment. They are grippy, they are stylish, they are durable, and they are touchscreen compatible. When I tell you that these gloves are grippy and durable; let me clarify that these have been my go-to gloves for my recent adventure of putting the first rides on my new prospect who is not fully convinced that being a saddle horse is the BEST idea in the world, and thinks that maybe being a racehorse is his true calling. The Roeck-grip gloves have been a (sometimes literal) lifesaver. Whether you are shopping for schooling or show gloves, Roeckl should be at the top of your list.
