How To Change Your Horse’s Name on USEF

Did you just get a new horse? Do you not like its name, or want to change it to something that means more to you? Keep reading to find out how to easily change a horse’s name on USEF!

First off, you want to make sure you are logged into the US Equestrian website. Once logged in, click the MyUSEF tab at the top of the page.

Scroll about half way down and you will find the “Your Horses” section.

It will give you a few options on what details you can see about your horse. Click on which horse you would like to change the name of, and there will be a box that says,“Change Horse Name.”

When you click on that, it will bring you to a page where you enter the new name and “add to your cart”. To change a name on USEF it costs $60, so once you pay that, you are all set to go!

Name changes process in the order that they are received, so your horse’s name will be changed through USEF as soon as they can get to it.
