Triple Crown® Nutrition Excellence Award Goes to Mark Mead at The Colorado Horse Park

Mark Mead receives the Triple Crown Excellence Award during week 6 at the Colorado Horse Park.

Parker, CO. (July 19, 2018) – As Triple Crown® Nutrition scouted the arenas at The Colorado Horse Park for the most deserving candidate for the Triple Crown Excellence award, Mark Mead and his amazing horses and riders quickly stood out. The Triple Crown Excellence Award is presented at the Parker, Colo. venue by Triple Crown, a sponsor of The Colorado Horse Park Summer in the Rockies show series. The award is given to a rider who exhibits strong dedication and achievement in horse sports, aboard a horse that shows exceptional health and fitness. With over 12 horse and rider combinations out and about over the weekend, Mead definitely had to excel in his coaching and riding abilities.

Mead, owner of Sleepy Hollow Farm in Longmont, Colo., trains horses and riders from low hunters all the way up to high jumpers, and competes himself in the same vast spread of classes and divisions. Being around so many horses in the different divisions, Mead has no breed or type favorite he will ride anything that goes. “I think the courses here have been outstanding. They are the right questions at the right spot,” said Mead of his experience in the many different arenas.

With a full schedule for the coming months and the goal of keeping his horses healthy and happy, the fact that he is already well aware of the benefits of Triple Crown feed makes keeping them in top form easy. “I feed Triple Crown! All my horses are on it and everywhere we go, we get complimented on how our horses look,” said Mead of his incredible experience thus far with Triple Crown.

When it comes to fulfilling performance horses’ nutritional needs during intense competition, there is no substitute for supreme quality feeds. Triple Crown feeds feature revolutionary formulations, premium ingredients and EquiMix® Technology, an innovative blend of advanced supplements, in every bag.

Committed to supporting the dietary needs of horses across disciplines, Triple Crown was the first company to add prebiotics, probiotics, and organic minerals to its feed. Consumers can always rely on a corn free, ‘fixed formula’ recipe with added digestive enzymes that remains the same over time, regardless of rising ingredient costs.
