Parker, CO (July 20, 2018) – Vita Flex, a leading producer of top-quality equine supplements, is jumping into the mix of excitement created at The Colorado Horse Park’s Summer in the Rockies show series by awarding winning riders and their outstanding mounts with the signature Vita Flex Victory Pass Award. This week’s winner of the Vita Flex Victory Pass Award was Kelly Davis aboard Chicka for their success in the 1.10m Jumpers.

Davis who works at Serenity Ridge Farm briefly described the unique program they have. “We primarily focus on young horses and bringing them in from Ireland. We are hoping to strengthen the connection between Ireland and the USA for importing young horses.” Davis and the nine-year old Holsteiner mare Chicka have come up through the young jumpers since Chicka was three. Now she helps Davis in the Amateur classes. Their goals going forward this summer are to grow more together and keep moving up the levels.

Coming to compete from Omaha, NE, Davis and her mom, Sharon Classen, a well-known equine and human physical therapist, traveled in for three weeks of competition at the Colorado Horse Park. Classen who graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a degree in physical therapy, has worked at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and for the Husker football team. “Equine physical therapy is something that’s been badly needed for a long time. We have the opportunity to work with the equestrian athlete and the equine athlete independently, but also together.” She owns Serenity Ridge Farm in Bennington, which is home to nine of her own horses, a jumping course and what she calls a “horse B&B” for equestrians traveling through Nebraska.

While being known for their top quality young horses, Davis and Serenity Ridge Farm have one other secret weapon in Classen, and her knowledge in equine and human physical therapy. With all this knowledge and extra steps to keep their horses in top form, Davis also accredits the regular use of Vita Flex’s well-known Lactanase® product for many of their horses.

As a steadfast supporter of the equestrian community for decades, Vita Flex believes in always striving to cross the fine line between good and great. The company excels at developing effective supplements to help performance horses achieve their best in and out of the ring.

Vita Flex is proud to provide riders, trainers, and owners with top-quality equine products, including antioxidants, electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, joint care products and topical solutions to help keep horses in optimum health.
