Brandywine Valley Summer Series to Host 2019 USEF Junior Hunter National Championships East

The Brandywine Valley Summer Series (BVSS) has been awarded the privilege to host the USEF Junior Hunter National Championships East for the 2019, 2020, and 2021 seasons. This year, BVSS will present the event on July 8-9, 2019 at its location on the historic Devon Horse Show grounds in Devon, PA.

The USEF Junior Hunter Championships offers qualified Junior Hunters the opportunity to compete against their peers in 3’3” and 3’6” heights with the top finishers named National Champions in their respective divisions. BVSS show manager, Geoff Teall, is excited about staging the storied competition. “We feel the Devon show grounds are the ideal venue for this great event, “ Teall states. “We look forward to having the opportunity to create the best competition for all concerned; horses, riders, trainers and parents alike.”

Entering its ninth year, BVSS has established itself as an important fixture on the summer circuit. Over two weeks of competition, BVSS offers National Hunter Derbies and an International Hunter Derby as well as Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation Classics. The shows are renowned as being exhibitor and equine friendly. Managed and staged by veteran horse show experts who are sensitive to every detail, BVSS has built a reputation of excellence. Founder Louise Serio summarizes her efforts. “We try to offer the best horse show that we are capable of. The jumps, footing, stabling, and scheduling have the exhibitor in mind.
We offer great hospitality and vendors and welcome all those who attend. I try to run the kind of show that people enjoy.” Serio credits the success of the show series to the committed staff at BVSS. “We have an
incredible crew of staff and volunteers who work every year to make our shows spectacular. I cannot thank them enough.”
