I’m not exactly the stickiest person ever when it comes to riding. Case in point — my horse has spun me off turning left in a jumper course… more than once. So safe to say, I have a lot of respect for those scrappy riders who can defy gravity and keep themselves in the saddle in any circumstance.

These pictures amaze me not because the horses are having an off day, but because the riders used super human abilities to get back in the saddle. From all the pictures below, not a single rider came off the horse!

In perhaps the most epic save as all, Richard Spooner uses the jump standard to push himself back into the saddle. Now that’s ingenuity!

Do you think you could have made it through any of these moments, or would you be in the dirt? I know I’d be dusting off my breeches!
