Victoria Colvin Recognized With Vita Flex Tack Room Award During Week 6 of 2019 Winter Equestrian Festival

Victoria Colvin wins the Vita Flex Tack Room Award at WEF Week Six 2019

Wellington, FL (March 1, 2019)— With the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in full swing in Wellington, Florida, the level of excitement and day to day activities at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) continues to ramp up. For young hunter professional Victoria Colvin, this translates to her sometimes showing 20 horses in one day.  Many equestrians would find it a challenge to maintain a winning record at this level of competition; however, because she is so organized, Colvin continues to cross the fine line between good and great performances and rides into the ribbons.  This is why Vita Flex, a top manufacturer of veterinary-developed supplements for competitive horses, is excited to recognize her with the Vita Flex Tack Room Award during Week 6 of WEF. For the third year in a row, Vita Flex is presenting the Tack Room Award to the barns and equestrians who show exceptional attention to detail and organization in their tack rooms during this year’s festival.  “The competition is amazing, and there are so many people that come down here to show,” says 22-year old Colvin about WEF, “And the best part is that I get to ride amazing horses all day, every day!”

The most amazing horse of all for Colvin currently is her 2018 USHJA International Hunter Derby championship mount, Private Practice, owned by Brad Wolf. Not only did the pair win Champion High Performance during Week Five, they followed it up with an exciting win of the $100,000 USHJA/WCHR Peter Wetherill Palm Beach Hunter Spectacular during Week Six.  Colvin credits her parents for providing the inspiration to continue winning, while at the same time, maintaining a beautifully organized and welcoming barn area at the show. She also adds, “A lot of it is just the love for the horses.”  Colvin is grateful for the Tack Room Award along with the commemorative ribbon, and is excited to use the bucket of Vita Flex products she received as part of the prize.

Vita Flex is dedicated to helping aspiring riders and professionals like Colvin cross the fine line between good and great performances by developing some of the best supplements available for performance horses.
