Wellington, FL (April 5, 2019) – Spring excitement is certainly in the air at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, Florida now that the winter season has wrapped up and the Equestrian Sports Productions (ESP) Spring Circuit has officially begins.  Although some horses, riders and sponsors have packed up and are heading north, Florida is still the place for some of the best equestrians and sport horses in the world to be seen.  Canadian company Semican is proud to announce that after a very successful season, which began with a debut sponsorship in December at the ESP Holiday Circuit is continuing to support high performance equestrian sport by sponsoring throughout the ESP 2019 Spring, Summer and Fall circuits.

André Rivard of Semican explains that the company is thrilled by the response and results from sponsoring events during the winter season, which kicked off when riders Todd Minikus and David Oliynyk jumped their way to winning shows sponsored by Semican last December.  Minikus claimed the blue ribbon at the $30,000 Semican Grand Prix to conclude 2018 ESP Holiday III competition at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC), and David Oliynyk rode to victory at the $5000 USHJA National Hunter Derby sponsored by Semican. Rivard explains that Semican understands the importance of providing calm energy to high performance equine athletes, and this is why the company is excited to expand and share its product benefits with sport horse enthusiasts and other top riders throughout the next several months. He is very happy with the overwhelming welcome that the Wellington equestrian community has given.

The five-week ESP Spring Series will continue to offer top hunter, jumper, and equitation competition to riders of all levels. The circuit will be hosted at the Main Grounds of PBIEC for the first three weeks and then will transition to Equestrian Village, home of the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF), located at 13500 South Shore Boulevard, for the final two weeks of competition. Semican is the Presenting Sponsor of the ESP Spring 4 and Spring 5 $10,000 Semican Equine 1.40m Open Stakes that will take place in the covered ring at Equestrian Village.
