The eventing world might have been focused on the cross country course yesterday, but another huge event happened in Kentucky—Split Rock Jumping Tour’s Kentucky Invitational Grand Prix CSI 3* grand prix.
Through rain showers and huge crowds, riders navigated a 1.60m course. Ireland’s Paul O’Shea and Skara Glen’s Machu Picchu went double clear for top honors in the field of 24. Just milliseconds behind him were Eugenio Garza and Armani SI Z from Mexico in 2nd, with Australian Rowan Willis and Blue Movie right behind in third. The top placing American rider was Ali Wolff and Casall, going double clear and just a fraction behind in time.
This exciting Grand Prix added to an already thrilling weekend with the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event.
