When COVID-19 caused the cancellation of many horse shows and tradeshows, small businesses across the horse industry were hit hard. That is when Forest, owner of Herd of Zebras, and Erin, owner of EQright, with the help of Plaid Horse Advertising Executive, Allie, came together with an idea to help small businesses everywhere, and the Virtual Equestrian Tradeshow (V.E.T) was born. Here is what they had to say about the event: “While there is no quick fix to deal with these global issues, we can all do something to show support and find support in this difficult time. Our purpose is to gather and share small equestrian brands in one location making it easy for shoppers to browse all of the cool new products that they would have otherwise seen at a tradeshow.”
The Virtual Equestrian Tradeshow launches Friday April 17th and will run through April 26th. With just shy of 70 vendors shoppers have tons of incredible small businesses at their fingertips. From breeches to t-shirts, cleaning supplies for your blankets and tack to eco-friendly tack and apparel, treats to tech devices, the V.E.T has something for everyone, and even spans multiple disciplines of riding. Vendors will also have the opportunity to promote a social media livestream on the V.E.T homepage, allowing shoppers to learn more about the brands and interact with the wonderful people behind many small businesses.
