“We are honored and excited to have Bob join us in Kentucky,” said Emily Elek of Stonewall Farm. “We are so busy with trials in addition to our riders competing, that his expertise will be an incredible asset. With over thirty years as a rider, trainer, and judge, he knows exactly how to keep every part of the finals process running smoothly.”

Crandall is a USEF Pony Finals veteran over many decades, including judging the prestigious event four times. “Pony Finals is hard and it’s competitive, as it should be. It is a great show and I am excited to help Emily and her riders,” Crandall shared.

USEF Pony Finals is a highlight for Stonewall Farm, whose show team competes on average about 20 ponies in barn and in addition, has leased or sold annually up to 100 other competing ponies. At press time, Elek is leading USEF’s Leading Pony Owner rankings.

“I’m looking forward to joining Emily and her team in Kentucky,” Crandall commented, “She has a big group; some have gone to Kentucky a bunch of times and others it’s their first experience at Pony Finals. It is a talented team!”

While there is some uncertainty, clients are excited for the opportunity to mask up and showcase in the ring their progress over the last year – some with green ponies and some how have made great strides in their own riding. This will be Crandall’s first time working with Stonewall Farm, “we had a Zoom meeting with the Emily and her clients last week to prepare for Kentucky and it was great.”
