2020 Fall Indoor Circuit Changes Locations Due to COVID

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Directors and show management teams of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Washington International Horse Show, and National Horse Show have worked together to satisfy both exhibitors and sponsors to safely host these events in 2020.

It is in the best interest of the sport, safety of the riders, trainers, and horse show staff to have these events to find the best solution possible with cancellation as a last resort. 

The National Horse Show will be indoors in Kentucky subject to COVID-19 restrictions on October 23 – November 1, 2020. Junior riders across the country strive to qualify for the ASPCA Maclay Finals held at the National Horse Show each year. The qualifying criteria has been adjusted for this year’s finals due to COVID-19.

The Pennsylvania National Horse Show (October 8-17, 2020) and the Washington International Horse Show (October 20-25, 2020) will now take place in Tampa, Florida. 

The Dover Saddlery/ USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final brings the qualified top junior riders to the Pennsylvania National Horse Show to compete for the top honor. This year the show will be held in Tampa, Florida on October 8-17, 2020 to adhere to safety precautions. The Neue Schule/ USEF JR. Jumper Championships is also held at Pennsylvania National Horse Show. 

The WIHS Equitation Finals, WIHS Pony Equitation Finals and the WIHS Children’s and Adult Hunter and Jumper Championships at Washington International Horse Show will also be held in Tampa, Florida on October 20-25, 2020.
