The goal since breaking ground at the Paso Robles Horse Park (the Park) has been to create an environment prioritizing the safety of the horses, enjoyment of the competitors, and development of the sport.
In 2018, the Park brought all show management in-house to ensure that the influence of their goals was included in every single show detail. While they offer a full range of show options from a schooling show series up through nationally-rated USEF shows, the Park team has been exceptionally proud of the B Show Series. These shows offer one-of-a-kind programming to support the future horses and riders. Each ring, class, and fee of the shows are designed with young horse and new rider experience and fun in mind.
Young Horse Program
Trainers, owners, and riders are encouraged to bring their young horses to the Park to gain the Experience and Exposure for rated showing in a safe, encouraging, and affordable environment. With the installation of the 2 EX Program (Young Horse Program) at the B Show Series, stall fees are reduced to only $50 per week for young horses (7 and under). Additionally, the Park’s team captures and shares video footage of these horses’ rounds for promotion on the Paso Robles Horse Park’s YouTube Channel.

“If it’s not fun, we’re not doing it”
Competition is always of extreme importance; however, at the Park, fun is of equal importance. From fun classes like the Ride and Splash at Rosé in May, to the barn decorating contest at Paso Pumpkins and Ponies; competitors, trainers, and even spectators are reminded that sharing laughs and smiles with barn mates and fellow competitors are what makes the early mornings and work to prepare for the show worth it.
For the Park, putting on a show is so much more than offering classes, points, courses, and stalls to their competitors; it is about taking the time and thought to make this sport the best that it can be for all levels of competitors. If you haven’t had the opportunity to experience a Paso Robles Horse Park B Show yet, they hope to see you at one soon. There is truly something for everyone.
