Dynamic Duo Arrives at HIPICO Santa Fe: Carleton & Traci Brooks to Give Clinic

We are excited to welcome Balmoral Farm’s Traci and Carleton Brooks for a clinic at HIPICO Santa Fe. Mark your calendars, April 24-25, 2021, when this dynamic duo makes their New Mexico debut!

Traci and Carleton Brooks have a lifetime of experience with horses, an extensive teaching and training background and a keen ability to match horses and riders to produce impressive results. They share an appreciation and respect for horses and, in addition to their training skills, are well-regarded for their high standard of horse care and attention to detail.

Together, they’ve trained and produced numerous National Champions, including Penn Square, Ragtime Cowboy, Triton Z, Wish List, Sleepwalk, Virtue and Corallie. They are also accomplished at bringing riders from beginners to National Champions and have trained horses and riders to numerous championships at shows such as The Pennsylvania National Horse Show, The Washington International Horse Show, The National Horse Show, Devon, Junior Hunter Finals and International Derby Finals.

Carleton Brooks, best known as “CB”, is one of the most respected and recognized horsemen in the country. His successful career spans three decades of coaching, judging, training, riding and competing. Whether training one of Balmoral’s many nationally ranked hunters, judging national and international horse shows such as The Washington International, The Pennsylvania National, Devon, International Derby Finals, Junior Hunter Finals and the Royal Winter Fair or working with a wide variety of students and horses as a trainer and clinician, CB is a hands-on professional with an exemplary reputation.

Carleton operated Uphill Farm Inc., in Atherton, California, out of the Menlo Circus Club for 22 years. There, he trained and produced stellar horses including Center Stage, Just For Fun, Vested, Corporate Profit, Buccelati, Sparring Partner, Trinity and Doubletake, to name a few.

Carleton has received many honors in the sport, including Leading Hunter Rider at The National Horse Show, four-time winner of the Pacific Horse Shows Association Don Tipton Award and the Arthur B. Hawkins Award for Excellence in Horse Sport.

Don’t miss the opportunity to ride with this dynamic duo – submit your rider application now! Each rider and horse combination accepted into the clinic will also include one auditor pass. Pricing starts at $700 per horse. Multi-horse discounts for horses accepted into the clinic that are currently in training with the same trainer are available.
