New Qualifying Period for Devon Horse Show

The Devon Horse Show has announced a new qualifying period for its 2021 edition.

To the delight of the horse show community, after its unfortunate cancellation in 2020, the Devon Horse Show announced its 2021 show dates, May 27 – June 6, 2021.

With a new year has come a new set of qualifying dates, and in support of those unable to compete last year, the new qualifying period for Devon 2021 is January 1, 2020 to April 5, 2021.

Entries will close on the following dates:

  • Hunters (including Local Hunter), Jumpers, Coaching and Equitation: April 5, 2021
  • Hunter Breeding and Pony Hunter Breeding: April 26, 2021
  • Saddlebred, Hackney, Harness, Roadster, Driving & Carriage Pleasure Drive: May 3, 2021

Open jumpers are the only exception to the rule, as the event maintains its designation as an CSI4* event, according to the current FEI events calendar. Such riders will qualify based on their ranking on the Rolex/US Equestrian Show Jumping Ranking list dated April 3, 2020 and the FEI Longines World Ranking List #241.
