The Dressage Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2021 Evie Tumlin Memorial Fund Grant for Region 9 Adult Amateurs has been awarded to Megan Riley of Manor, TX.
Megan is a member of the Central Texas Dressage Society. She currently rides and competes her two horses at Training, First, and Second Levels. Megan will be participating in a clinic with Jeremy Steinberg in May.
“Receiving the TDF Evie Tumlin Memorial Fund grant gives me the amazing opportunity to train with Jeremy Steinberg,” said Megan. “The continuation of education in dressage with my Quarter Horse and Haflinger is a dream come true. I’m genuinely excited and so appreciative to have received this grant!”
Evie Tumlin was an integral part of her Region 9 dressage and eventing community. Throughout her years of serving and helping others, she touched many lives and helped to raise several generations of young men and women who loved horses. This Fund was established in memory of Evie by her friends and colleagues in Region 9. Grants are for educational experiences that will further the applicant’s knowledge of dressage and are in addition to the applicant’s typical training plan. The grant application deadline is March 1st of each year. For more information or to apply visit www.dressagefoundation.org.
