
Savannah, GA – The public is invited to virtually join the Savannah College of Art and Design in conversation with The Plaid Horse magazine’s Piper Klemm, Ph.D., during Klemm’s ‘Guests and Gusto’ appearance on September 30 at 5 p.m. (EST).
SCAD’s Guests and Gusto virtual series features conversations and content with leading cultural voices, including creators, innovators and entrepreneurs from across industries.
During the hour-long conversation with Klemm, the accomplished entrepreneur, author, professor and magazine publisher will share her expertise and insights for those interested in careers in the equestrian industry. Attendees to the Zoom virtual event will have the opportunity to ask questions of Klemm during a question-and-answer portion of the session.

About Piper Klemm, Ph.D.
Piper Klemm, Ph.D. is the owner and publisher of leading equestrian industry magazine, The Plaid Horse. Klemm’s mission is to educate young equestrians in every facet of the equestrian industry and to empower young women to find their voices and stories – and to share them.
Klemm has spent her career focusing on education through various channels, including as the creator and host of The Plaidcast, North America’s most listened-to horse show podcast; as a professor at Clarkson University; as the co-author of the Show Strides book series and as a provider of grants and experiential learning opportunities for riders of all ages and levels. She earned her Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley.
Klemm currently resides in Canton, New York, with her husband, Adam Hill, and she trains with Balmoral Farm and Stonewall Ponies, competing in the amateur hunter divisions with MTM Sandwich.
