October 8, 2021 – The Plaid Horse has partnered with the Pennsylvania National Horse Show (PNHS) as a media partner with full magazine distribution. The PNHS will run October 14-23, 2021 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg, Pa.
“The Plaid Horse is proud to be a media partner for this year’s 75th anniversary Pennsylvania National Horse Show,” said Piper Klemm, Ph.D., Publisher of The Plaid Horse. “We have been distributing magazines here and providing coverage for every single one of our 18 years and as we grow, PNHS also grows by continuing to improve the experience for exhibitors and spectators. This year has been a particular whirlwind of change and we are thrilled to document the exciting changes.”
This year PNHS has added to the classes being offered, adjusted the schedule and increased prize money. The facility has added another ring to bring more actions for spectators and classes for competitors. The expertise of the new show manager, Patrick Boyle, has continued the opportunity for riders to show at this incredible venue. Listen to him talk about his past experiences and his plans for the Pennsylvania National Horse Show on Episode 248 of The Plaidcast.
Qualifying lists can be found here.
Additionally, PNHS will mark the debut of the 4th installment of the Show Strides book series called Testing Friendships. The 3rd installment called Moving Up and Moving On also made its debut at PNHS in 2019.
In order to participate. The Pennsylvania National Horse Show was selected earlier this year to be the host site for the Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final and Neue Schule/USEF Junior Jumper National Championships. This year will be the first of three years that they will be hosting these championships.
