Aachen, Germany (October 10, 2021) – For almost 100 years, Fratelli Fabbri has been the industry standard in riding boots. Innovative materials, old world elegance, attention to detail, and the incorporation of requests and notes from riders around the world has granted their boots performance like no other. This summer Fabbri’s family of riders proved themselves to be the best in the world. With double Olympic Gold Medals in Tokyo, wins at the European Championships, and victory at the prestigious CHIO Aachen, Fabbri has proven that their boots are made to ride and made to win.

The highly anticipated 2020 Tokyo Olympics, held in the summer of 2021 due to to the COVID-19 pandemic, granted long-time #FabbriFamily rider the top honor an equestrian can achieve. Great Britain’s Ben Maher and Explosion W took the Individual Gold Medal, besting the equestrian world’s top competitors on its largest stage. Maher, who also took Team Gold at the 2012 Olympics aboard Tic Tac, also took 4th in the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen and is currently the top ranked rider in the Longines Global Champions Tour standings.

In the Team Show Jumping competition, #FabbriFamily rider Peder Fredricson’s last in the order jump-off with H&M All In secured victory for Sweden. Fredricson went on from his Olympic Team Gold Medal to win Bronze in the FEI European Jumping Championships at Riesenbeck, the Longines Global Champions Tour London Grand Prix, and the Longines Global Champions Tour qualification and league competition with Valkenswaard United.

Aachen, Germany’s CHIO Nations Cup and the impressive show grounds are a mecca for the FEI equestrian sports, and once again #FabbriFamily riders were in the spotlight. Team USA, featuring Fabbri’s own Brian Moggre and Lucy Deslauriers, jumped to victory under the lights of the iconic equestrian stadium. Moggre & Deslauriers, along with teammates Laura Kraut and Jessica Springsteen, delivered clears in the first round (with Kraut’s score being dropped). In the second round, Deslauriers’ single rail and Kraut and Moggre’s clear rounds secured Team USA the win.

“Aachen is something I have dreamed of since I was a little kid, so to be [at Aachen] with a great horse and great teammates could just not be any better,” said Moggre. “I never have had a horse before that has gone and jumped great things. I only had young horses and my junior jumpers moving up, so it was a lot of pressure to put on myself to step up to the plate, but he’s so reliable and so kind, I couldn’t ask for anything more. I just love him so much.”

Furthering their unique fusion of modern and classic, Fabbri brings a leading edge and ‘made to ride’ design to its performance riding boots, with ready to wear, off the rack PRO Boots, limitless custom design options, and the Fabbri VEG, the first of its kind 100% vegan leather boot made completely without animal products. The Fabbri VEG boots were a natural next step for the eco-conscious brand, and all of their models now include recycled materials like plastic bottles as part of their standard boot construction. The juxtaposition of classic Italian craftsmanship with modern innovation has made Fabbri the choice of top riders and Olympians from the hunter ring to the cross country course and everywhere in between.
