Flashpoint Bloodstock Surpasses 2,000 Horses Sold in Internet Auctions

September 16, 2021 – Charles Town, West Virginia – Flashpoint Bloodstock and its subsidiaries SportHorseAuctions.com and ThoroughbredAuctions.com surpassed 2,000 horses sold in internet auctions. 

The August Internet Auction for Sport Horses and Ponies saw 20 sold pushing the total sold to 2,006. That was quickly followed up by a US District Court ordered sale of two racing Quarter Horses where both horses sold for a record average price of $58,000. 

The completion of the September Auction for Sport Horses pushed the total sold to 2,025 horses. 

In 2021, through September, the companies have sold 76% of the 296 horses offered.  

Flashpoint Bloodstock pioneered Internet auctions for equines and has produced 99 Internet Auctions since 2012 selling more than 2,000 horses for $13,000,000. 

The Flashpoint team produced some of the most successful online equine auctions ever held. The RD Hubbard Dispersal with 54 horses sold for $1,560,350 with an average price of $28,895, the 2012 US Marshalls Service Auction of Assets of Rita Crundwell with 81 horses sold for $1,642,200 and an average price of $20,774, and the Rancho Corazon production sale of Sport Horses selling 7 horses with an average price of $17,643.
