January 10, 2022 – Stonewall Farm (Ixonia, Wisconsin) is excited to announce that Bob Crandall will be joining the team once again for the 2022 USEF Pony Finals (Lexington, Kentucky).

“We love Bob! He has a great sense of humor and a great way with the kids and ponies,” said Emily Elek of Stonewall Farm.

Bob has worked with the Stonewall Farm team for the past two years. With over thirty years of experience as rider, trainer, and judge, his knowledge is an important asset to them. Crandall is a USEF Pony Finals veteran offering his coaching services over the decades and judging the prestigious event four times.

Not only is Bob’s knowledge and experience beneficial to the team, but so is his positive attitude. “The kids all love working with him, because he brings a fresh perspective, and he’s nicer than me,” Elek joked. She says his greatest gift to the team is that he offers the riders a new way of looking at things. “The kids always come back with new things to work on,” she commented.

Last year, Crandall spent two weeks preparing the team, and this year he hopes to spend even more time with them. “It’s a big deal for these kids to be there. I very much appreciate how responsive, polite, and thankful they are every time I’m there,” he stated, “They are a great group of people. It’s impressive, really.”
