The Duhon Management Group has selected Dr. Piper Klemm to join the judging panel for the 2022 Kirkwood Show at the National Equestrian Center in St. Louis, MO. The show will run from August 13- 14, 2022.
As the owner and publisher of The Plaid Horse magazine and an equestrian studies professor, Klemm has dedicated much of her career to furthering her equestrian education and sharing that education with others.
She is also a strong advocate for promoting educational and fun horse show experiences, such as those offered at the Kirkwood Show. Throughout 2021, Klemm has presided over horse shows throughout the U.S. that are working to increase the accessibility of horse showing and providing an affordable competition option for riders of all levels.
“The Duhon Management Group has created a wonderful environment for exhibitors, trainers, staff and spectators,” says Klemm. “They do a great job of pairing fun with competition. Not only are their shows well run, but the National Equestrian Center is also a beautiful facility. I am honored to join the judging panel and am looking forward to seeing the great competition!”
DMG Horse Shows are operated by the Duhon Management Group, a family-run business. Along with the Kirkwood Show, DMG Horse Shows offers a number of competitions at the National Equestrian Center (NEC) year-round. The NEC offers more than 207,000 square feet of continuous indoor arenas, schooling arenas and stabling. The show is open to the public and all are invited to come out and watch the incredible horses and riders compete.
“We’re excited to have Dr. Piper Klemm join us for the 59th annual Kirkwood Hunter/Jumper show. Her lifelong knowledge as a competitor and a judge is a welcome addition to this long standing show,” says Mo Duhon, owner of Duhon Management Group. “This show is always a great event with crowds of spectators lining the rings to cheer on their favorite riders. It’s one of a kind show and we’re excited to have Piper join us.”
