Wynatte Chu, Chairman of the Fairfield June Benefit Horse Show, says that the special touches the show offers would not be possible without their sponsors and expresses excitement atThe Plaid Horse’s presence at the show this year.
“This is the 99th year of the Fairfield June Benefit Horse Show. Our five-day boutique competition is Connecticut’s only USEF Premiere Hunter and Level 4 Jumper horse show,” says Chu. “We offer a full slate of hunter, jumper and equitation classes, from leadline to our $30,000 Fairfield Grand Prix. The show has earned the distinction of one of the most beautiful and prestigious shows in the country, attracting world class riders.”

The horse show places an importance not only on providing a prestigious level of competition, but also on creating a sense of community.
“Making the show a family event is very important to the pulse of our horse shows,” she says. “The horse show not only offers all levels of competition for families to be able to compete together, but we also offer family social events and amenities where exhibitors, families and spectators can enjoy being at the horse show. [Additionally], our Paddock Boutique offers selected equestrian shops as well some of the industry’s horse product leaders—we aim to not be just another horse show.”
