SIMSBURY, Conn.- Champs. The Sacred Heart University equestrian team captured their eighth Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Regional Championship on Sunday after being named High Point Team at Trinity College.
Of Note:
- Alyssa Kinney qualified for the IHSA Individual Regional Championships in Open Fences as she placed first in the event on Sunday.
- Alexa Setteducati also claimed a spot at the Regional Championships in Limit Flat with her second place finish on Sunday.
- Ashley Bocek was the third Pioneer to qualify for regionals on Sunday as she placed second in Novice Flat earning her a spot in the championships.
- Macayla Sousa was named Reserve High Point Rider of the day as she placed second in Intermediate Flat and first in Limit Fences Section A.
