The Plaid Horse Publisher Piper Klemm, Ph.D  has been invited to judge the College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show on September 3 – 4, 2022 in Asbury, New Jersey for the second year.

The College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show (CPI) provides aspiring young riders in grades 8-12 with the opportunity to learn and engage with collegiate riding through their horse shows, education opportunities, and scholarship/community service program.

Riders participating in The College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show will be able to compete in an environment that reflects the collegiate competition format. In addition to competition, the show offers an equestrian-focused college fair, where students can interact with representatives from both collegiate equestrian teams and admissions.

CPI also offers their CPI Scholarship and Educational fund, which aims to further educate riders on community service opportunities in their communities and emphasize the importance of sportsmanship and horsemanship.

“CPI provides young riders with such a unique opportunity to get to experience the collegiate riding environment prior to attending college,” says Piper Klemm, Ph.D. “They do such a wonderful job preparing students with what to expect as a student-athlete, and they also provide a platform for students to introduce themselves to collegiate coaches and college admissions representatives. The Plaid Horse is proud to be a sponsor as CPI continues to promote higher education within our sport.”

“We are so excited to welcome Dr. Klemm as a judge for our upcoming College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show,” says Lindsay Martin, President of CPI. “She brings so much knowledge and wisdom to this industry and is a great role model for these young riders. Dr. Klemm is a true advocate for education and increasing opportunities in this sport, and we are thankful that she will be a part of our upcoming show.”
