Equestrian Spirits, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) Public Charity, has been a rescue sanctuary for animals, including many horses, since 2010. This life-saving organization is in danger of losing their farm due to financial setbacks stemming from the pandemic.
Equestrian Spirits is seeking fellow animal lovers to aid with raising $430,00 in less than 30 days—a necessity to save this safe haven. The money raised goes towards preventing foreclosure, funding to refinance, pay off their existing loan, and to start on farm repairs. Plaid Horse readers may recognize the organization name: We spoke with founder and director Laurie L. Wolf in 2020. Wolf is an animal communicator, and all of the proceeds from her work go straight to Equestrian Spirits.
The public can lend a hand to Equestrian Spirits’ farm while making a safe, sound investment through Equestrian Spirits Equity, LLC, partnered with Semble. The investment amount is a minimum of about $10,000. Investors will get a return of 5% within five years.
“If your love is with animals and their well-being…look into your heart and consider an investment that will save the lives of many residents, this sanctuary, and the avenues of community service that we offer,” says Wolf.
This opportunity can save a farm and provide support to countless animals while benefiting those who contribute. If investing is not possible, donations of any kind are welcome because the current animal residents still need to eat. Contributors can make a donation by check, PayPal, or through Equestrian Spirits’ donation page.
Equestrian Spirits is currently home to 38 equines, 4 of which are donkeys. In addition to 4 dogs and 13 cats, Equestrian Spirits has 16 chickens and shares their pond with ducks. The property is even ready to house goats, sheep and llama. They have the ability to house far more small animals, but due to their current financial state, newcomers can not be accepted.
