Ernie Howlett Park played host to the 64th Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show, Sept. 9-11, 2022, featuring the PCHA Medal Finals.
The Rolling Hills Estates, CA-based show is a USEF A-rated competition known for its three Medal Final events, distinguished by age group. In addition to the competition, the Portuguese Bend National Horse Show engages exhibitors with a variety of food vendors, boutiques and entertainment for the whole family.
There’s a charity component, too: The show benefits the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. This major fundraising event of Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital will support The Associates Chair in Endocrinology and The Associates Chair in Transplant Surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
