New Group for Equine Professionals Created by The Plaid Horse

By APRIL BILODEAU

On Monday, April 17, 2023, The Plaid Horse created a new Facebook group for equine professionals, The Plaid Horse Professional Collaborative.

The goal of the group is to provide a space for professionals to network and support each other’s professional development. Members are encouraged to discuss training, tactics, lesson plans, exercises, course design, sales, and more.

A new take on The Plaid Horse Adult Amateur Lounge, which currently has over 8,000 members, the Professional Collaborative is a place to help professionals find mentors, ask questions, and give advice. The group is only open to equine professionals.

In just a few short days, the group gained hundreds of members who are excited about the mission. Conversations have started surrounding everything from lesson plans for the week to starting an Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) team.

If you are a professional in the industry and would like access to mentors, discussion and more, you may request to be invited to The Plaid Horse Professional Collaborative.
