Devon Horse Show is the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed show in the United States. The show started more than 120 years ago and is still standing today, entertaining American families annually. The country fair, which involves shopping, a midway, and more, was an addition to the horse show.
The 2023 edition of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is fast approaching, and there is much to be excited about. The show will go on for 11 days, giving you plenty of time to do other things like playing games such as real money casino.
Brief History of Devon Horse Show and Country Fair
The first Devon Horse Show took place in Devon, Pennsylvania, in 1896, as a one-day show. However, the show later became an 11-day horse show and fair, a culture that has endured. The country fair became part of the Devon Horse Show in 1919 and is still active today.
Moreover, the profits from the events go to the Devon Horse Show and County Fair Foundation. Since 1919, the Bryn Mawr Hospital has been the foundation’s beneficiary. The foundation donates to the hospital each year. Depending on the hospital’s priorities, the donation is typically earmarked for a certain purchase or initiative.
