It comes as no surprise that a young rider with the talent enough to take the top honors in a very competitive field during the THIS National Children’s Medal Final would continue her winning ways. In 2019, Eleanor Rudnicki earned the winning title at the THIS National Children’s Medal Final, and she has now added the title of Overall Grand Champion 3’6” Junior Hunter rider during the West coast championships.

Rudnicki was partnered with a catch ride for the weekend but allowed the mare to use her excellent jumping style to her advantage as the pair pinned scores in the 90s across all three phases. The young athlete, of Conroe, TX, was only the tender age of 13 when she captured victory in the THIS finals, but with several years of experience under her belt she has since gained valuable experience in the show ring at finals across the country.

While her former THIS Final mount was a tried and true partner for her, her most recent partner comes to her as an unfamiliar ride that she piloted for owner, Violet Tatum, in the 3’6” Small Junior Hunter 16-17 division.
