First-time MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill p/b Brown Advisory competitor, Piggy March (GBR), and her mount Brookfield Cavalier Cruise have stormed into the lead after the first day of dressage competition, earning an impressive score of 24.2 from the judging panel. Currently in second place is Monica Spencer (NZL) with Artist scoring 28.4, and in third place, we have Hannah Sue Hollberg (USA) and Capitol HIM with a score of 32.4.
Lauren Nicholson and Landmark’s Jungle Gold Top Leaderboard for the USEF CCI3-L Eventing National Championship*

The Main Arena opened Thursday morning with dressage tests for the USEF CCI3*-L Eventing National Championship. Olympian Lauren Nicholson (The Plains, Va.) currently leads the championship with a score of 30.6 aboard Landmark’s Jungle Gold, a 2015 Warmblood gelding owned and bred by Ms. Jaqueline Mars. Currently in second place in the division is Lynn Smyansky (Middleburg, Va.) with Idefix van de Crumelhaeve, and Woods Baughman (Lexington, Ky.) with Kamara CFF is in third place. The CCI3*-L division will continue with the second day of dressage tomorrow at 9:05 a.m. ET.
