BoneKare USA Believers Bring Home Victory in Pan American Games and National Horse Show

Following an exciting period of competition at the 2023 Pan American Games, BoneKare USA is thrilled to congratulate several partner athletes for achieving incredible success amongst intense competition. From the dressage arena to a nail-biting finale in which team USA would secure a spot for the 2024 Olympics, BoneKare Believers were a crucial part of American victory in Quillota, Chile.

Following a difficult first day of competition, Team USA pulled off a miraculous comeback that skyrocketed them into the pinnacle podium position with the help of two clear rounds from BoneKare Believer McLain Ward aboard Contagious. Ward was the first from the USA to take to the field on the final morning and set the tone for a productive day from the rest of the team including Karl Cook, Laura Kraut, and Kent Farrington. Stepping into the final day of individual competition, Ward and the incredible 14-year-old gelding fought hard to stay at the top of the leaderboard and ultimately earned a bronze individual medal.

Earlier in the week, teams vied for top honors in the dressage arena and once again team USA earned gold, this time with the help of BoneKare Believer Christian Simonson. The 21-year-old piloted top partner Son of a Lady to a new personal best in the Intermediare I. The score of 74.97% proved good enough for the lead position in the small tour competition and earned the young star a fourth place individual standing.

While the top BoneKare athletes were getting it done across the globe, rising talent and BoneKare Believer Carlee McCutcheon made history on home turf.  Fresh off a victory in the Dover Saddlery/ USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, McCutcheon and her steadfast partner, Chacco Star, reigned supreme in the ASPCA Maclay at the National Horse Show. Out of a harrowing field of 226 riders, the pair secured the early lead in the event and held tightly to it all the way to the end.
