Wellington, FL – Slip on your bellbottoms and sunglasses and get ready for an evening of talented performances, good vibes, and giving back! On February 16, 2025, the kids of the equestrian community will take the stage at the 16th Annual Kids Lip Sync, raising funds to support Danny & Ron’s Rescue.
This must-attend event will transport you back to the vibrant 60s with a Woofstock theme – Peace, Love, and Pups! Watch as the kids of Wellington light up the stage with their infectious energy and creativity, channeling iconic 60s music that will send you back in time. It’s a night of sheer joy and entertainment, all while raising vital funds for our furry four-legged friends.
This year, the event moves to a stunning new location, hosted by philanthropist Victoria McCullough at her gorgeous Mida Farm. Set against the backdrop of this picturesque property, the evening promises to be filled with excitement, heartwarming moments, and a celebration of giving.
Gloria Gaynor, the legendary music icon behind the timeless anthem “I Will Survive,” will be joining us as our special guest performer and celebrity judge, adding her mega star power to this already spectacular event. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best 60s-inspired attire – think bellbottoms, tie-dye shirts, and go-go boots – and to join in the fun! Prizes will be awarded for the Best Guest Costume, so make sure your groovy look stands out!
The Kids Lip Sync is more than just a performance; it’s an opportunity for the children of Wellington and the equestrian community to engage in philanthropy while having a blast. Kim Kolloff, the visionary behind the event, launched it 17 years ago with a simple idea: to teach kids the importance of giving back. Since then, the Lip Sync has grown into an eagerly anticipated annual tradition, with all proceeds benefiting Danny & Ron’s Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to saving and caring for dogs in need.
Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta founded the rescue after witnessing the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, and they’ve since rescued and rehomed over 14,500 dogs. Funds raised from this year’s Lip Sync will provide food, medical care, supplies, and shelter for these dogs, as well as help those who cannot afford veterinary care for their pets.
