Baüen Unlimited Taps New Generation of Leadership

Luxury custom building brand welcomes industry-veteran Samuel Ebersol as CEO among  other strategic team advancements

(PARADISE, PA) March 2025 — Baüen Unlimited, leaders in luxury custom construction, introduce a new generation of leadership. The family of brands, which includes nationally recognized B&D Builders, Mid-Atlantic Timberframes, Vintage Wood & Forged Iron, Vintage Millwork & Restoration, Blackwood Equestrian Stalls, and Mid-Atlantic Steel Fabrication, welcomes a new era of growth and innovation with the announcement of four strategic changes within the team.

Following a distinguished 39-year career, Ed Ferderbar will retire from his position as CEO of Baüen Unlimited and will be succeeded by Samuel Ebersol. Following his 13 years of leadership as general manager of Mid- Atlantic Timberframes, Ebersol now passes the reins to Michael Banta who advances from operations manager to general manager. At sister company B&D Builders, Amos Ebersol is being promoted from his role as director of preconstruction to general manager.

“Throughout each division of Baüen, empowerment remains a core value,” Sam Ebersol shared. “Our goal is to equip our people for success in every stage of their career because they are truly the most important component of the organization. As CEO, I am excited to work beside the general managers within the Baüen organization to further advance their vision for each business and enhance the employee and customer experience.”

“Each brand under the Baüen umbrella was founded from a passion to transcend the idea of what was possible in heritage building,” Ferderbar reflected. “Although different within their craft, each division is deeply committed to delivering a best-in-class experience from product sourcing to construction and customer service. As we look toward the future, we remain steadfast in these values while continuing to reimagine luxury custom building.”

The Next Generation of Leadership
Business partners and co-founders Ben Esh and Daniel Glick established B&D Builders in 2000. “Ben and I founded the company on the principles of family, church, then business,” says Glick. “We carried that into how we wanted the culture at B&D and its sister companies to be cultivated. SEEDS, which stands for Servant Leadership, Empowerment, Excellence is in the details, Do what’s right, and Stewardship, are our guiding principles and ones that we fully entrust to Sam, Mike, and Amos as they step into these new leadership roles.”
