Edited Press Release

Lexington, KY – June 9, 2025 – Chester Du Roset has been named the winner of May’s Show Jumping Hall of Fame Horse of the Month Award.

Owned and ridden by Audrey Muscari of Germantown, TN, the 10-year-old Swiss Warmblood gelding competes in the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series’ East Conference presented by Rood & Riddle. The pair were consistently quick and efficient at the Kentucky Spring and Kentucky Spring Classic horse shows, securing second and first (respectively) during each week’s $12,500 Show Jumping Hall of Fame 1.45m Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic. These great performances helped them secure the division Reserve Championship (Week 1) and Championship (Week 2) tricolors, as well as the Hall of Fame’s Rider and Horse of the Month awards for May.

The Show Jumping Hall of Fame conducts its Jumper Classic Series with classes at approximately 80 horse shows each year. The Series hosts classes for junior and amateur riders at both 1.40-1.45m and 1.30-1.35m in two Conferences – the East Conference presented by Rood & Riddle and the West Conference presented by LEG Colorado Horse Shows. The Series culminates in West Conference Championship Finals for both divisions at Temecula Valley National Fall 3 in Temecula, California, and the overall Series Finals for both divisions at the Washington International Horse Show in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Both Finals take place in October. The winners of the finals each receive one of LAURACEA’s best-selling backpacks, as well as complimentary admission to the Hall of Fame’s annual Induction Ceremony and Awards Gala in Wellington in March, during which they are honored for their achievements.

Each month, the Series honors the one rider and one horse that earn the most points in Series competition that month. For year-end awards, the Series recognizes each conference’s Leading Rider and Leading Horse; the Leading Rider Award is sponsored by LAURACEA. The winner of each year-end award receives an engraved Tiffany crystal trophy and complimentary admission to the Hall of Fame’s annual Induction Ceremony and Awards Gala in Wellington in March, during which they are honored for their achievements.

The 2025 winners of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Horse of the Month Awards are:

  • January – Aidan Kennedy’s Barney Rubble
  • February – Jet Show Stable’s Vitus K
  • March – Team Philippaerts and Familie Lens (Comm. V)’s Klaartje Z
