Stockholm, Sweden – November 26, 2021 – Jessica Springsteen (USA) and Volage du Val Henry were victorious in the $610,000 (SEK) Agria Prize CSI 4*, the feature show jumping challenge Friday at the Sweden International Horse Show CSI 4*.
The American and her very own 2009 chestnut Selle Français mare (Quidam de Revel x Cassini I) were supreme in the 1.50m challenge, producing the fastest clear jump-off performance by tripping the timers in 45.36 seconds.
The level of the competition was high and the margin of difference between the top two combinations was very low, with the reigning Olympic Champion Ben Maher (GBR) guiding Ginger-Blue (Plot Blue x Royal Bravour) toward second honors—only four-hundredths of a second slower the winners.
Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) and Miro (Diamant de Semily x Kannan) also left all the poles up for no penalties in the tiebreaker, rounding out the top three in 45.90 seconds.
