USEF CEO Bill Moroney is Set to Retire by the End of 2026

On Monday June 15, U.S. Equestrian announced in a press release that Bill Moroney will be retiring from his position as CEO of the United States Equestrian Federation by the end of 2026.

After ten years in office, Moroney has made this decision believing that it is time for new leadership to come onto the board. According to U.S. Equestrian this choice is directly related to USEF Board President, Tom O’Mara’s term that is scheduled to conclude at the end of 2028. Retiring now provides enough time for a new CEO to get their footing before a new Board President comes into office two years from now.

In the article, O’Mara paid his tribute to Moroney, expressing his gratitude and praise for what Moroney has provided to the equine community, thanking him for his work with the Federation. O’Mara will be leading the USEF Board of Directors in finding a replacement for Moroney by the end of the year.
